Vietnam , 13 June 2008 – Singapore companies, currently serving global manufacturers, will be at MTA Vietnam in Hanoi for the first time. These companies are Lek Hung Moulding, Microcast, Index Precision Industries, Pentmet Engineering, Riken Engineering, Caldron Tools, and many more.

Lek Hung Moulding, established since 1991, specialises in the design and fabrication of precision plastics moulds of between 30 tons to 850 tons, for all types of electronic products like automotive, electrical and home appliances, audio equipment and computer peripherals. The company’s capabilities in mould production extend to a full range of services, from mould design and fabrication to its programming and measurement to ensure its highest quality. Pentmet Engineering, an ISO 9001:2000 certified manufacturing service provider established in 1986, offers connector assembly, wire and cable harnessing, electro-mechanical assembly and precision plastic injection mould processes to international corporations in the electronics, computers, communications and packaging industries. The draw of Vietnam’s large population of driven and low-cost workforce as well as its Government’s open policy to foreign investment has led the company to set up its fifth plant in Southern Vietnam in 2007.

Index Precision Industries was established in 1993 as a specialist manufacturer for precision components of semi-conductor equipment industries. Over the years the company has enhanced its expertise with a wide range of machines to provide high quality services such as injection moulding, laser cutting, heat and surface treatment and engineering services to a broad scope of industries including aerospace, medical and robotics.

Microcast has been supplying precision zinc diecast components to customers worldwide since 1989. Through innovative component design, the company has helped its customers significantly reduce their overall production cost and attain improved performances. Microcast’s products are used in a wide range of industries such as telecommunications, aerospace, computers, consumer products, medical, machinery and automobiles. The company exports more than 95 percent of its products to multinational corporations including Honeywell, Sony, Hitachi, Bosch, Philips, IBM and Toshiba.
