The business opportunities provided are immeasurable. At this year's MTA Vietnam, we showcased the TruPunch 1000 - a CNC Punching, Nibbling and Forming Machine which was well-received by the local industries. We expect strong sales for this model and TRUMPF's many other high-end series of machines with anticipated sales of over US$5 million to be concluded.
Edward Yuen, General Manager, Chief Representative of TRUMPF Vietnam
This year, we featured one of our latest machine, the CNC Lathe DuraTurn 2030 and it met with strong interest from the Vietnamese manufacturing industry. We have had a rewarding time at MTA Vietnam and our estimated sales is US$4 million.
Y. Nakamura, Regional Manager, Mori Seiki Singapore Pte Ltd.
This is the third time that Yamazaki Mazak Singapore is exhibiting at MTA Vietnam and good chance for us to announce our new representative office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. We are pleased with the turnout and met with new customers and existing customers at the show. We are most certain that post show sales will follow.

MTAVietnam2007 Automotive Manufacturing Conference

The Automotive Manufacturing Conference held on 5th July, brought together industry leaders and professionals with useful insights into the major implications after Vietnam¡¯s admission into the World Trade Organisation (WTO), the challenges, and prospects on what lay ahead.

The conference featured two presentations by the Ministry of Industry, as well as a procurement paper by Vietnam¡¯s leader in motor vehicles, industrial manufacturing and transportation services, SAMCO.

SAMCO is glad to be part of MTA Vietnam 2007. Speaking at the conference as a state-owned company to champion the growing development of Vietnam's automotive manufacturing industry is indeed meaningful and we hope to encourage many local SMEs and OEMs to step in readily.

This event is truly international and is an excellent sourcing platform to meet our procurement needs¡±. Mr Tran also revealed that the organisation had allocated a portion of their purchasing budget specifically for MTA Vietnam.

Mr Tran Quoc Toan, Deputy General Director of SAMCO
